Today we are celebrating St Andrew's Day, a particularly special occasion for us here at St Andrews Day Nursery, as we share our name with Scotland's patron saint!
Throughout the day, our children will be taking part in a variety of fun, creative and age-appropriate activities inspired by Scottish culture and traditions. These may include exploring the Scottish flag, listening to traditional music, enjoying arts and crafts, and discovering interesting facts about Scotland.
We will also be learning about the importance of kindness, friendship, helping others and celebrating different cultures and traditions.
These experiences will support children's creativity, communication, curiosity and understanding of the world, whilst encouraging a sense of belonging and pride in our nursery community.
