🦖💻 Techosaurus Day – Learning to Stay Safe Online! 💻🦖

As part of our ongoing safeguarding curriculum, we celebrate Techosaurus Day every month, helping our children develop an age-appropriate understanding of internet safety and how to use technology safely and responsibly.

Through fun, interactive activities, stories and discussions, we introduce children to important online safety messages, including asking a trusted adult before using devices, being kind to others online and knowing what to do if something on a screen makes them feel worried, confused or uncomfortable.

Our activities are carefully adapted to suit the ages and developmental stages of our children, ensuring that online safety is introduced in a fun, positive and reassuring way.

By revisiting Techosaurus Day each month, we aim to build children's confidence, communication skills, critical thinking and understanding of how to stay safe in an increasingly digital world.

We also encourage children to recognise the importance of balancing screen time with active play, creativity and real-world experiences.

🦖💚 Our message is simple: Be smart, be kind and always tell a trusted grown-up if something doesn't feel right online!
