❤️ Remembrance Day 🌺

Today we are recognising Remembrance Day, a special time to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed their lives during conflicts, as well as those who continue to serve.

Our children will be taking part in gentle, age-appropriate activities to help them understand the importance of remembrance, kindness, peace and respect.

Through creative activities, including making poppies, stories and discussions, we will be exploring the meaning behind the red poppy and why it is worn as a symbol of remembrance.

These experiences will encourage children's understanding of the world, empathy, communication and creativity, whilst helping them appreciate the importance of kindness and caring for others.

🌺 At the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, we remember. Lest we forget.
