Autumn Equinox / International Day Of Sign Languages

Today we will be welcoming the beginning of autumn! 🍂 The children will be exploring the changes we can see happening around us as the seasons change, from leaves changing colour and falling from the trees to cooler weather and the different things we might find outdoors. 🍁🌳 We’ll be getting creative with autumnal activities, exploring natural materials and heading into our gardens to see what signs of autumn we can spot! 🔍🍃🦔

We’ll also be celebrating International Day of Sign Languages! 🤟💙 Communication comes in many different forms, and today we’ll be encouraging the children to explore this through signs, gestures and visual communication. We’ll practise some familiar signs together and celebrate the different ways that people can communicate, helping our children understand the importance of inclusion and making sure everyone has a voice. 🥰🤟🌈
